Product Details

US Indian Wars 1885/89 campaign hat with punched "snowflake" vent. Snowflake vents measure approximately 1 - 1/8". Leather sweatband measures 2 - 1/8" wide and remains somewhat supple in areas. Less than half of the sweatband remains secured to the hat. Ribbon exhibits soiling in areas with a few frayed spots. Ribbon measures approximately 3/4" wide with nice bow. The brim has 3 lines of stitching. Underside of the brim is marked "R. ROGERS CO. D". Hat retains some of its shape and remains supple. A rare piece. 13" x 12" x 6"
